a well-known speaker started off his seminar by holdin up a $20.00 bill.
in the rm of 200, he asked.
"who would like this $20 bill?"
hands started goin up.
he said, "i'm goin to gif this $20 to one of u, but first let me do this."
he proceeded to crumple up the $20 bill.
he then asked, "who still wans it?"
still e hands were up in the air.
well, he replied, "wat if i do this?"
he dropped it onto the ground
and started to grind it into the floor wif his shoe.
he picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"now, who still wans it?"
still e hands went into the air.
we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
no matter wat had been done to the money,
people still wanted it
because it did not decrease its value.
it was still worth $20.
many times in our lives,
we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we made and
the circumstances tat come our way.
we feel as though we are worthless.
but no matter wat had happened or
wat will happen, you will nv lose ur value.
dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,
we are still priceless to those who do love us.
the worth of our lives comes not in wat we do or who we knoe
but by who we are.
each of us are special in our ways. (",)
