play 2 parts = u know lets say one eupho part is on low notes n sounds like having a quaver on every start of the bars n rest thru out the bars? alrite this is one part, the other part is on running notes say semiquavers or so, running on the rests that the quaver part is having. means, he will play one quaver n continued wif running notes. got it??? i guess this is smth like tat ba.. n he's quaver notes are all low wif the running notes tat sounded high. =/ li hai.

double tone (wat zeyu told me so i guess it is right) = ermm this i donno how to explain but u gotta hear it urself. lols. its smth like producing 2 kinds of tone, one is ur original tone n the other tat sounds abit airy which needs to come frm ur throat to make tat sound. smth like tat. lols! tink rather hard to achieve this. shruggs. tink i can only explain to this extent coz tats wat i know frm zeyu la. hahas.

anywae, if u interested in brass band concerts, next time if there is i inform u kk?? hahs din knoe u'll be interested n i din knoe there will be solos til i got into the hall. =)


back to todae. had my 1st lesson on gems - film appreciation. it seemed rather boring to me. but other than tat, i tink its quite nice la. watching movies during lesson. appreciating films as wat the module name means, we had to ans few questions tat the lecturer will set aft every movies, eg "who are the characters?", "wat is the message being brought across?", "wat is the theme", "who is the mystery character?" smth like tat. hopefully we wont hav to write critics on every movies watched. but, in time to come, sher lin(lecturer) say we'll be writing on movie reviews. hahs. one thing she said, she don mind us bringing pop corns into the classrooms every lesson. cool! this week's assignment got to go back watch spiderman 2 again. -.-" abit tedious la. i looked thru the course's schedule, we'll be watching some familiar films tat i watched or heard before. eg, moulin rouge, house of flying daggers, the truman show etc. there's 2 or 3 films i din hear before. well, hopefully it wont be a boring gems ba. *pray hard*

at least one thing i knoe for sure tat i'll learn frm this module is tat it might help this movie retard me to be able to analyze movies well. lols, i still remembered i went huh-ing aft watching phantom of the opera wif cheng n peee. they nearly died frm my questions. lols. yea loh, if i don understand the movies i'll keep asking til i got it. so.. unlucky them to hav me as a friend. =X had some other friends tat i had bugged aft watching movies wif them. hee.
